摘要：The oil pump (8) is placed to one side of the annular reservoir (14) containing apool of oil (18). It delivers oil (20) to a distribution cone (22) at the end of the shaft. Theball- or roller-bearing (5) for the shaft (3) is lubricated by oil flung off the large end ofthe cone. The oil may flow back to the reservoir through channels (24-27) in the bearingand oil reservoir housing (1). A large diameter cone (28) above the bearing slings any oilthat gets through the bearing into the upper oil return channels. The pump has

oppositely threaded spindles (10,11) to help feed oil into it from its upper or lower end.
