这两天，有一个问题一直盘旋在我的脑海里：怎样才能真正做到放下小我，成就大我？
A question has been hovering in my mind in these two days: how can I really set aside the smaller self to achieve the greater self?
我认为＂小我＂就是一切以自身利益为出发点的思想和行为。在一个团体里着眼于自我的个人利益，在一个公司里着眼于自己团队的利益，在一个国家里着眼于自己公司的利益，这些都是小我的表现。＂大我＂就是一切以他人利益为出发点的思想和行为。在团体里个人利益服从于团体利益，在公司里团体利益服从公司利益，在国家层面公司利益服从国家利益，这就是一个不断放大自我的过程。无论处在什么样的境地，都能把个人利益放开，一切以他人、团体、公司、国家乃至全人类的利益为目标的大胸怀，才是真正成就＂大我＂人生的天下格局。一句话：＂小我＂自私自利，＂大我＂无我利他。
I think that “the smaller self” refers to all the thoughts and actions for the sale of self-interest. If one person focuses on individual interest when he/she is in a group, on the interest of his/her team when in a company and on the interest of his/her own company when in a country, then all these behaviors are the manifestation of the smaller self. “The greater self” refers to all the thoughts and actions for the sale of others’ interest. Individual interest should give way to group interest, group interest to company interest and company interest to national interest. This is a process of continuous self-amplification. No matter what kind of situation we’re in, we should put aside individual interest and embrace the target for the interest of others, group, company, country and even the whole human beings so as to achieve a life pattern of “greater self”. In a word, “the smaller self” is selfish while “the greater self” is selfless and altruistic.
例如，有人说：鼎益丰是一家民营企业，将来做得更大会有风险怎么办？我认为，所有的风险都来自于自私和贪婪。我们从做鼎益丰之初就没想着公司是为自己而做的。鼎益丰能有今天的成就都源于这块土地，这个国家和中国共产党的正确领导，这是不可否认的事实。假如没有这片土地，没有我们的国家，没有我们伟大的党，哪有鼎益丰的存在？没有父母，哪有孩子！所以上报国土恩、国家恩和共产党的恩德才是我们努力的方向！
For example, some people say: Ding Yifeng is a private enterprise, so what to do with the risk once it develops and becomes larger in future? I think all the risks come from selfishness and greed. Since Ding Yifeng was founded, we have never considered that the company is established for the sale of ourselves. All the great achievements made by Ding Yifeng until now result from this land, from this country and from the correct leadership of the Communist Party of China. This is an undeniable fact. Ding Yifeng won’t exist without this land, our country or our great Party! There won’t be children if there’re no parents! Therefore we should pay a debt of gratitude to our land, country and the Communist Party. This shall be the direction of all our efforts!（2017年7月25日马小秋分享）
