When we move to another countries ,we can be confront a problem that customs differ from place to place in the world. some of them decide to follow the customs of the new country ,but others prefer to keep their own customs. in my point of view, i think follow the local customs will be better. here are my reasons.

First of all, misunderstanding will surely arise if we are not aware of these differences. for example, in india ,people always use nod to show they are disagree, which is different from our habits. then, sometimes follow the customs means respect. in our country, eating fork can be permitted. but in some muslin countries, eat pork is forbidden. last but not least, i think follow the local customs can help us integrated into the local society quickly. and we can make more friends.

In a word, only those who have an awareness of the customs of another nation can have a better interpersonal relationships.
